CSA to GO via Metro Pedal Power
A season of great… actually amazing local eating is just a delivery away! Enjoy the convenience of “to your door delivery service” via the folks at Metro Pedal Power combined with the option of a “You Choose” CSA share direct from the pastures and fields of our farm. Eating Local just got a whole lot better!!
An Introduction: A new farm membership program for folks desiring the direct from farm experience- amazing high quality, great tasting and nutritious, local farm ingredients direct to your door! Our farm has teamed-up with Metro Pedal Power to offer the best of our meat and poultry products along with some great, locally sourced products from neighboring farms and area producers. Imagine- members can purchase conscientiously-raised beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and eggs from our farm in addition to a great assortment of local cheeses, farm fresh milk and much more! In season, members will also be able to complement their meat and dairy purchases with separate weekly veggie shares composed of an amazing assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables direct from our fields: Fresh tomatoes, picked this morning corn on the cob, raspberries, strawberries, melons, fresh greens, beets and other roots, fresh dug new potatoes and the list goes on and on! Our farm will also be partnering with Cuisine en Locale to offer weekly meal share options as part of their new Shared Food Program. CSA members will be able to purchase a freshly prepared, homemade meal made entirely from locally sourced ingredients –many direct from our farm.

How It Works:
Memberships are available as bi-weekly deliveries for three, six or twelve month periods. Members must commit to a minimum bi-weekly order of $50/delivery or order (plus delivery fees). Every other week, members create a customized order from a list of available products posted on our web store. This allows members to create a share that best suits the needs of their household and family as well as take advantage of the seasonality of many New England farm products. Memberships can start at any point, and arrangements can be made to suspend share delivery to accommodate vacation plans and special circumstances.
The Details:
- Members create an account with our farm.
- Then, we ask members to generate an initial order for delivery (selected from our web store).
- Every other week, members visit our farm web store by the order posting deadline to select from a list of available items to generate their next delivery. We ask that members commit to a minimum of $50/delivery, however there is no limit to the amount of goods than can be purchased for delivery. Orders totaling less than $50 in value, will be billed the difference to reach the CSA commitment.
- Members must place their orders by the designated order post deadline. If a new order is not generated, then we will use your previous order to fill your next delivery. In the event that an item may not be available that had been selected on your past order, we will use our best judgment to make a comparable substitution.
Cost:
Members must commit to a minimum bi-weekly order of $50/delivery or order (plus delivery fees). To become an “MPP CSA to Go!” member, we ask members for a membership commitment* of $100. This commitment will be set-up as credit, up to the full value, after your first two deliveries, and all CSA payments are billed per delivery through our web store. Delivery fees have been assessed and are charged by Metro Pedal Power when your order is complete. Additional fees may be charged by MPP based on order size.
*The membership commitment fee is to help our farm with up-front cost associated with producing, handling and distributing the goods we are offering. This is your commitment to our farm to help share these costs.

Delivery is set up through Metro Pedal Power. The cost of delivery is $12.00 for an average sized order (up to 2 bags or ~20 pounds). For larger orders add $2.00 for each additional bag or ~10 pound increment.
Going on Vacation?
Traveling or need to suspend your share, sign in to your account to suspend delivery service. This must be done by 72 hours before the order post deadline.
